Keynote Presentations

The Center’s executive director, Melanie Lockwood Herman, is available to deliver an engaging keynote at your upcoming conference, board retreat or leadership event. Are risk and liability top of mind topics for your members or conference attendees? If you're looking for a speaker to use humor and real world examples to illustrate the importance of being risk aware, Melanie can deliver. Her keynotes offer practical insights on key legal and reputation risks, based on her two decade career as a risk advisor to leading nonprofits.

The cost to book Melanie Lockwood Herman for a keynote presentation is $3,500 ($2,500 for members), plus economy travel expenses from Washington's Dulles airport to your conference location. Erin presented a creative webinar titled, "The Frankenstein Effect", which was especially intriguing at Halloween! She covered the difference between volunteers & employees; accidentally transforming a volunteer into an employee, as well as scenarios and tips for clarification. It was very well received and a topic that could be reviewed annually! Thank you Erin!
